Route Review Inspection Best Practices

Modified on Fri, 14 Feb at 4:01 PM

1. Navigate to the generators location.

2. Search for the address in Minerva.

Minerva Tip: Creating an asset from the Generator Detail page will link the Asset to a Generator (Generator ID) and the Asset will apply to all active accounts at that location. Creating an Asset from the Account Detail page will link the Asset to only that Account (Minerva ID).

3. Review the SB 1383 SLCP Compliance info card.

Green means compliant, red means not compliant.

4. If compliant skip ahead to step 7. Customer Container Inspections

5. If not compliant proceed to a Service Inspection

6. Service Subscription Inspection

Open the SB 1383 SLCP Compliance section of the Compliance Matrix and identify what organic waste material types and/or non-organic recyclables are not being recycled.

Open the Current Services section to identify what services the generator is subscribed to.

Open the Activities section and create the appropriate (+ New Activity → Note → Site Visit) Route Review service subscription inspection failure Activity record(s) to be able to track route review information for the EAR.

Minerva Tip: Use standardized, coma separated, Activity titles to make reporting in Excel easier using an exported Activity list. Then use standardized information that explains the Activity title to start an Activity description. See suggested standardized Activity titles and descriptions below, or create your own to match the specific needs of your program.

7. Customer Container Inspection (only for non-multifamily commercial businesses)

Take photos for evidence

Open the Activities section and create the appropriate (+ New Activity → Note → Site Visit) Route Review Customer Container inspection Activity record(s).

8. Prohibited Container Contaminants Inspection

Take photos for evidence

Open the Activities section and create the appropriate (+ New Activity → Note → Site Visit) Route Review prohibited container contaminants inspection Activity record(s) to be able to track Route Review information for the EAR.
